Press the temperature button to step through five constant settings: 37, 45, 50, 55 and 60 degrees Celsius. A PI heating film brings the pad up in about three seconds, and the small LED screen shows the number you are on.

A 2000 mAh rechargeable battery sits inside the pad and charges through the port on the edge, so there is no cable while you wear it. The widened elastic band slides through a flat adjuster at the front and pulls in to your own size, and the face that rests against you is a soft plush fabric.
