Five moulded parts, one insole
Taken apart, the insole is five moulded pieces. A woven knit fabric top cover lies over a matte black arch shell, two dimpled rubber pads sit in the footbed, one round at the heel and one shaped under the forefoot, and the whole thing sits on a cream EVA base with a sidewall trim running around the edge.
- Woven knit top over a moulded arch shell
- Two dimpled rubber pads, heel and forefoot
- Cream EVA base with a sidewall trim around the edge

Holds the heel in place
The heel sits down inside a U shaped cup moulded into the EVA base rather than resting flat, and a round dimpled pad is set into the base underneath it. The heel end of the insole measures 1cm thick, the forefoot a slimmer 0.5cm.
- U shaped cup, about 15mm deep
- Dimpled pad set into the base
- 1cm at the heel, 0.5cm at the front

A pad where the pressure lands
A larger shaped panel of the same dimpled rubber sits under the ball of the foot, where the pressure from a step lands first. It sits on a moulded EVA base that stays slim enough at the front to keep the fit of the shoe.
- Shaped pad under the ball of the foot
- Same dimpled rubber as the heel pad
- 0.5cm thick at the forefoot

It lives inside the shoe
These are full length insoles, so they go inside the shoe, under the foot and out of sight. Lift out the shoe own insole first if the fit is snug, drop this pair in fabric side up and heel end first, then press the forefoot flat.
- Sits inside the shoe, under the foot
- Fabric side up, heel end first
- Nothing to trim, no tools needed

Where the shell sits under the foot
The raised part of the shell sits between the ball of the foot and the heel, at the point where a flat footbed leaves an open space underneath. It is moulded to 3.5cm at its highest on all six sizes, so what changes from one size to the next is the length and the forefoot width, not the height of the arch. That is why the size is worth matching to your shoe size: it is the length that puts the raised part under the middle of the foot rather than in front of it or behind it.
- Raised between the ball of the foot and the heel
- 3.5cm at its highest, the same on all six sizes
- Length changes with size, so the shell lands in the right place

Pick the size you already wear
Order the size that matches the shoe size you already wear, so 39-40 if you buy a 39 or a 40. The table lists the length and the forefoot width of all six, from 23.9cm long on the smallest pair up to 28.9cm on the largest. Fitted right, the insole lies flat from the heel end to the toe end with nothing folded up at the front, the edges sit inside the shoe rather than riding up its sides, and the raised part of the shell meets the middle of your foot. If it creases, or the toe end has to bend to go in, the pair is longer than the shoe.
- Match the size to the shoe size you already wear
- Six sizes, 35-36 through to 45-46
- A right fit lies flat, with no crease and no folded toe end
Built to size.
