A flat pillow letting the head tilt down beside the contoured pillow holding the head level in its centre channel
Flat, or shaped

What the shape actually changes

A plain pillow gives you one flat surface, and it squashes down under the weight of your head. This one keeps a channel in the middle and a wing at each end, so your head settles into the channel instead of sinking through it.

  • A flat pillow squashes down, this one holds its profile
  • The head settles into the centre channel
  • Head, neck and shoulder end up in one level line

Inside

What the shape is made of

Cut it through and the contour is not a trick of the cover. The polyester fibre body itself rises at both ends and dips in the middle, wrapped in the knitted cover as a single filled piece.

  • Polyester fibre body, one filled piece
  • The profile rises at both outer sections
  • The centre sits lower than the wings

Side sleeping

Turn onto your side

Your head sits up on the raised outer wing rather than dropping through a flat pillow, which leaves room for your shoulder underneath. Both ends match, so it works whichever way you turn over.

  • Rest on the raised outer wing
  • Both ends of the pillow are the same
  • It does not flatten out by the morning

The cover

A cover that comes off

A zip runs along the edge of the knitted cover. Open it, lift the cover clear, wash it and zip it back on. The polyester fibre inner stays whole and never goes near the machine.

  • Knit cover lifts off
  • Zip along the cover edge
  • The fibre inner stays whole

Where it goes

A pillow you set up once

Pick the fill weight when you order and the same contoured shape does the rest, night after night. It sits on the bed like any standard pillow, front edge towards you.

  • Front edge towards you, wings at the outside
  • Works on your back and on your side
  • Keeps its shape after washing

Four heights

Choosing your fill weight

All four options are the same 48 x 74cm pillow. Only the amount of polyester fibre inside changes, from 650g for the lowest profile up to 1000g for the deepest. The table gives you the four side by side.

  • 650g low, 750g standard
  • 850g firm, 1000g high
  • Same 48 x 74cm shape on all four

One shape.
Four heights.

Pick the fill weight that suits you and the same contoured shape does the rest, night after night.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the four heights?+
All four are the same 48 x 74cm pillow. Only the fill weight changes: 650g for a low profile, 750g for standard, 850g for a denser firm fill and 1000g for the deepest. A heavier fill makes the pillow deeper, not longer or wider.
Which height should I pick?+
It comes down to how deep you like a pillow and how much room you want under your head. 650g is the flattest, 750g is the middle of the range, 850g is denser and springier, and 1000g is the deepest of the four.
Is the cover removable and washable?+
Yes. A zip runs along the edge of the knitted cover, so it lifts off and washes separately from the polyester fibre inner, then zips back on once it is dry.
Which way round does it go on the bed?+
Front edge towards you, with the charcoal grey mesh panel facing out and the two raised wings at the outer ends. Your head goes in the lower channel in the middle.
Does the shape work if I sleep on my side?+
Yes. The two raised outer wings are the higher part of the pillow, so on your side your head rests up on a wing rather than dropping through a flat pillow, leaving room for your shoulder.
What is it filled with, and what size does it arrive?+
Polyester fibre, at 650g, 750g, 850g or 1000g depending on the option you choose. It is packed flat at 42 x 65 x 3cm and opens out to the full 48 x 74cm shape.
