Grey J shaped pregnancy pillow on a bed with a woman resting inside the curve
One piece

One shape that takes your head, your back and one knee

A pile of ordinary pillows has to be built again every time you turn over. This is a single J shaped piece. The rounded curve at the top takes your head, the long outer rail runs the length of your back, and the shorter inner arm comes round in front so an arm and a knee have somewhere to sit. You put it down once.

  • One continuous piece, nothing to stack or line up
  • A rounded closed curve at the head end
  • A shorter inner arm that sits in front of you

Crystal velvet

A short dense nap that stays smooth against skin

The cover is crystal velvet. The pile is short and packed close together, so it reads as smooth rather than furry, and a cheek or a forearm resting on it does not catch. It is the same fabric on every colourway, so the feel does not change with the colour you pick.

  • Crystal velvet cover with a short dense nap
  • Smooth under a cheek, a forearm or a knee
  • The same fabric on all four colourways

Removable cover

The cover unzips and comes off

A double zip runs along the pillow. Open it, slide the velvet cover off the inner pillow and the cover goes in the wash on its own. It goes back on the same way. The inner pillow stays dry and stays where it is.

  • Double zip running along the length of the pillow
  • Velvet cover slides free of the inner pillow
  • Wash the cover on its own and refit it

Not only for lying down

Turn it round and it becomes a back rest

Sit up against the headboard with the closed curve behind your shoulders and the long rail down your back, and the shorter arm comes round the front at about lap height. Forearms go on it while you read. Same pillow, nothing added, it simply faces the other way.

  • Closed curve sits behind your shoulders
  • Shorter arm comes round the front at lap height
  • Nothing to unfold, refold or adjust

Shaped to hold you, not stacked to fill a gap

The same bed, two setups

What the mattress looks like with a pile of ordinary pillows, and what it looks like with one shape.

The same bed side by side, on the left a stack of separate pillows behind her back and on the right one J shaped body pillow
  • Four or five separate pillows stacked behind the back and pushed in at the knees.
  • The stack fans apart as you move, leaving a gap wherever two pillows meet.
  • Four or five pillowcases to strip on wash day.
  • One J shape, laid down once, running behind the back and round under the top knee.
  • It holds its own form, so it stays where you put it instead of coming apart.
  • One cover to unzip instead of four pillowcases.

One shape.
Put it down once.

Being comfortable in bed is mostly about not having to think about it. One piece that stays where you left it, a cover that comes off, and two sizes so it suits the bed you already have.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the two sizes?+
The large one is 175 x 90 x 65 cm and carries 3.0 kg of filling. The small one is 155 x 75 x 60 cm and carries 1.8 kg. The shape is identical in both, so the difference is length and bulk. The large one takes up more of the bed, the small one leaves more room beside you.
Can the cover be washed?+
Yes. A double zip runs along the pillow. Open it, slide the velvet cover off the inner pillow and wash the cover on its own. Let it dry fully before you put it back on.
What is crystal velvet like to touch?+
It is a short dense pile, closer to a smooth brushed fabric than a fur. It is the same fabric on all four colourways, so only the colour changes.
Which of the colours are two tone?+
Grey and Charcoal Black are one tone all over. Navy and Light Grey has a navy top and a light grey underside. Pink and Grey has a grey top and a pink underside.
Will it fit a double bed?+
The large one is 175 cm long and 90 cm across, so on a standard 135 cm wide double it takes up well over half the width. The small one at 155 x 75 cm leaves more room for someone next to you.
How does it arrive?+
It is compressed for shipping, so the parcel is a good deal smaller than the pillow itself. Take it out of the packaging and let it open out to full size before you use it.
